In the late 70's, my dad took and my cousin to Indiana to see the Chessie Steam Special. Thats when I really fell in love the trains, I always wanted to be a train engineer. That dream never come true as I hoped.

These pictures were taken in southern Indiana in 1977. I don't know the exact location of Indiana we was in.

I found out a few years ago that the engine was destroyed in a fire. It was kept in a building and the fire destroyed it and the building.
My dad was pointing at a few parts of the engine that made the engine go.
